Edwina Bartholomew (born 5 July 1983) is an Australian journalist and TV show host. She is a newsreader on Sunrise, a breakfast TV programme on Seven Network.
Bartholomew co-hosted Dancing with the Stars and Australian Spartan. She married Neil Varcoe on their NSW farm in 2018, and they share two gorgeous children.

Early Life
Edwina Bartholomew was born on 5 July 1983 in Whyalla, a mining town in South Australia. She moved to Sydney when she was five and stayed there for four years before leaving at the age of nine.
Bartholomew moved with her entire family to Japan because of her father’s job.
After spending six years in Japan, they moved to Malaysia. After five years, she returned to boarding school in Sydney with her brothers and sisters.
Education
Bartholomew attended the boarding school Abbotsleigh School in Wahroonga. She then enrolled at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst to study journalism.
She also obtained a Master of International Relations from Sydney University in 2006.

While in her final year, Edwina won a competition to become an intern at Sunrise. She showcased her bubbly personality by hosting the Fremantle Dockers Ball at Crown Perth in July 2016.
Sunrise newsreader Edwina Bartholomew worked as a reporter for the commercial radio station 2GB. She covered the Beijing Olympics for the Seven Network.
Bartholomew continued to work as a reporter for Seven News before joining Sunrise’s Sydney correspondent in 2011. She has also filed stories for Sunday Nights.
In 2013, Bartholomew took over from Grant Denyer as weather presenter on Sunrise. In September, she became the co-host of the dance competition series Dancing with the Stars.
She announced she would move from being a weather presenter to entertainment presenter and primary fill-in news presenter for Sunrise in January 2016.
Bartholomew co-hosted the sports reality competition series Australian Spartan in 2018 and 2019. She became the news presenter on Sunrise, taking over from Natalie Barr in March 2021.
In March 2024, Bartholomew started presenting Sunrise Early News, replacing Jodie Speers. She has interviewed superstars, such as Pink.
Personal life
Edwina Bartholomew and Neil Varcoe tied the knot at their New South Wales farm in 2018.
The pair met while working together on radio station 2GB. Neil proposed at their property in New South Wales in 2017.
Bartholomew announced her pregnancy with her daughter while on television in 2019. She welcomed their first child, Molly Matilda Christie Varcoe, in December 2019.
Again, in 2021, Bartholomew announced she was expecting her son. She welcomed her second child, Thomas Donald Elliott Varcoe, in March 2022.
In 2024, Bartholomew announced in a live segment that she has cancer – chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML).
In February 2016, Edwina made headlines after her outfit at the Oscars red carpet in Los Angeles was widely mocked online.
