They play their home matches at Orlando Stadium which has a capacity of over 37, 000.

The team is nicknamed Buccaneers, Bucs, Ezikamagebhula, Sea Robbers, the Ghost, Happy People, Amabhakabhaka, Ezimnyama Ngenkani (The black ones). The football club was founded in 1937 as Orlando Boys Club.
