Asher Keddie (born 31 July 1974) is an Australian actress. She is best known for her roles as Nina Proudman in Offspring, Carol Frost in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Love My Way.

The actress has been in the film industry for over 20 years and has made many notable appearances, including in The Cry. She has won many awards, including the Logie Award for Most Popular Actress five times from 2011 to 2015.

Early Life

Asher Keddie was born on 31 July 1974 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, to Robi and James Keddie. She took dance lessons for nine years when she was a kid.

When Keddie was 14, she hurt her knee right before an audition at the Australian Ballet School. She had to stop dancing because of a knee dislocation.

Keddie landed an acting role in a commercial for dancewear while at ballet school and subsequently landed an agent. She completed her studies at St Michael’s Grammar School in St Kilda.

Asher Keddie tied the knot with Jay Bowen in January 2007. The duo separated in December 2011.

Keddie married artist Vincent Fantauzzo in a private beachside ceremony on Fiji’s Turtle Island on 9 April 2014. They share two sons – Valentino and Luca, from Vincent’s previous marriage.

Keddie first met Vincent in 2012. She announced that she was pregnant at the GQ Men’s Award in November 2014 and had her first child on 1 March 2015.
