Personal Life
Erin Simpson married Zac Franich, 35, in 2019 at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Auckland. She is seven years older than her husband.
Erin met Zac in 2018. They started living in the same apartment by the end of 2018. Zac proposed onboard a naval boat while they were in Napier for the city’s Art Deco Festival.
They welcomed their son Harrison Trevor, born at Auckland’s Waitākere Hospital on 10 June 2022.
In June 2023, Erin’s son Harrison failed a hearing test. Doctors found a fluid blocking his eustachian tube, so grommets were inserted under a general anesthetic.
Erin was romantically involved with former rugby player Ben Boyle. She lives in Auckland with her husband and son.
