I have now phoned the only number listed for the hospital TWELVE TIMES and the phone just rings. I got through once when pushing prompt number 3 looking for a patient’s ward. the guy who answered said he can’t tell me which ward my mother is in I must contact emergency. THEN why have the prompt number 3 if they cannot find a patient in your hospital. I am based in JHB and would like to find out how my mother is doing who was admitted yesterday and she does not have her phone on her. I cannot believe after 12 phone calls from around 18h30 today 12 Nov the calls are cut after ringing for ages… So glad I don’t I don’t have a real emergency …. WHY are calls not answered HOW DOES ONE FIND OUT HOW A patient is that is over 1000 kms away ??? NOT GREAT people NOT great at all. Please check your so called new prompts when someone phones as they don’t work – listen to prompt 3 as the guy who answers says only emergency can tell you which ward a patient is in so why have prompt 3 that states if you looking for a patient and don’t know which ward they are in push 3 ….anyway i have now pushed every single prompt number for over 40 min and I have had only one person answer who sent me to emergency that don’t answer … NICE ONE Karl Bremmer Hospital …………..
I’m having the same problem! This Is pathetic! NO ONE ANSWERS ANY OF THE 4 NUMBERS!! We are so worried about a loved one and need to find out what is going on, no one phones you back and my mom does not have a phone on her. We are not allowed in the ward, so can’t even see her. Really???
