Out of the 54 countries in Africa, there have been confirmed cases of coronavirus in about 40.  The virus has continued to spread around the world has the number of cases continues to increase globally. The COVID 19 outbreak has influenced people’s very lives as everyone now has to stay at home, practising social distancing.

The virus has been able to spread through foreigners coming into various countries or nationals travelling out to infected areas. China has the highest percentage of coronavirus cases because the pandemic originated from there, with a total case of about 80,000 patients and 3,000 deaths.
