Phelo Bala (born 24 March 1991) is a South African musician and a member of the vocal trio called The Bala Brothers. The group is made up of brothers Zwai Bala, Loyiso Bala, and Phelo Bala.

The award-winning musician attended Drakensberg Boys’ Choir School.
Phelo Bala Family
Phelo was born into a musical family. His parents were choristers, they first met while singing in church choirs. His grandfather was a choral composer. He is the younger brother of celebrated musicians Zwai and Loyiso Bala.
Phelo Bala joined multi-award winning gospel ensamble “Joyous Celebration” being with the group until 2015. He also released his self-titled debut solo album in 2011. In 2014, Phelo confirmed his calling as a sangoma, a high spiritual honour in indigenous South African culture.

In 2019, Phelo came out as gay in his Instagram account. He also got engaged to his boyfriend, Moshe Ndiki.
In July 2020, his relationship with Moshe Ndiki hit the mud over allegations of domestic violence. Sunday Sun reported that Phelo was allegedly assaulted by Moshe with a candle stand. The publication stated that the musician had a bleeding gash on his head that needed stitches.
