The Agricultural Economics Association of South Africa (AEASA) is inviting all qualified students to apply for Bursary Programme 2022 academic year.
With the intention of funding PhD candidates in Agricultural Economics or a related topic, the AEASA established the BD Nomvete Bursary Trust Fund.
To fund a successful PhD candidate in 2022, the Trust will award a bursary to a PhD applicant. A stipend of R50,000 is given to each student each year for a period of two years, with a maximum of three years.
Eligible candidates are students who are registered or have been accepted at an accredited university in South Africa to study for a PhD in Agricultural Economics or an approved allied discipline. Priority will be given to individuals who have previously been disadvantaged, no matter their race, gender, or ethnicity (particularly women).
