Alfred Ntombela (born 3 April 1972) is a South African actor popularly known for his roles as Shorty Dladla in Mama Jack and as Alfred Short in Sweet and Short.
He is known for his small stature as an adult and his native language is Zulu but he also speaks English and Afrikaans.

At a young age and unemployed, his mother got pregnant. Before he was born, she left his dad since his father was an albino and she had fears that she would be ostracized by the community for having a child with a ‘white man’.
When he was a few weeks old, his mother abandoned him, and his mother’s uncle’s wife took him and raised him as her own.
