Bongeka Gamede (born 22 May 1999) is a South African footballer who plays as a defender for the University of the Western Cape(UWC) and the South Africa women’s national team.

She had to postpone her first-year exams as a tourism student at the University of the Western Cape in order to participate in the competition. In a pre-World Cup friendly against Norway on June 2, 2019, she made her debut for her country by substituting during South Africa’s 7-2 loss.
