As the COVID 19 situation seemingly gets worse, celebrities all around the world are coming together to donate to those in need. Everyone has been observing social distancing and staying at home to curb the spread of the coronavirus. However, the situation continues to remain dire.
It is nice to see that celebrities are using their platforms and positions to make a positive impact. Every day more and more celebrities rise and step in to help. We have brought you a list of some of the celebrities so far that have made donations to fight coronavirus.
1. Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber, the popular singer, and songwriter donated to the Beijing Chunmiao Children Aid Foundation to help with coronavirus relief efforts.
2. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively
This celebrity couple pledged a sum of $1 million to Feeding America and Food Banks in Canada.
3. Ciara and Russel Wilson
This couple donated one million meals to Food Lifeline, Seattle food bank.
4. Rudy Gobert
This Utah Jazz player is donating more than $500,000 to support the employee relief fund at Vivint Smart Home Arena and other COVID-related social services.
5. Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga’s cosmetic company, called Haus Labs, announced that it would be donating 20% of its week’s profits to local food banks in Los Angeles and New York.
6. Steph and Ayesha Curry
Eat Learn Play, a foundation belonging to Steph and Ayesha Curry, donated to the Alameda Country Community Food Bank and Feeding America.
7. Kristen Bell
Kristen Bell along with her kids made a donation of $150,007.96 to No Kid Hungry. She stated that the number is odd because her kids donated from their piggy banks.

Justin Timberlake made a donation to the Mid-South Food Bank in Memphis, which is his hometown.
8. Eric Stonestreet
This actor and comedian donated 200,000 meals to Harvesters food bank in Kansas.
9. Jimmy Fallon
This popular TV show host with his family donated to Feeding America.
10. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian donated an undisclosed amount of money to the Dream Center in Los Angeles and We Women Empowered in Chicago.
Kim Kardashian is as well donating 20 per cent of the proceeds from Skims, her shapewear brand, to Baby2Baby’s coronavirus Emergency Response Program.
This popular celebrity, through her Clara Lionel Foundation, donated a sum of $5 million to the course.
12. Shawn Mendes
Shawn Mendes donated to Canada’s SickKids Foundation as support for urgent screening and preventing the spread of the virus.
13. Arnold Schwarzenegger
This popular celebrity and former governor of California donated $1 million to the coronavirus fight.
14. Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus partnered with the Emi Jay brand to support Feeding America in a Care Together campaign. When a purchase of hair ties is made from her brand with the code “BrightMinded”, 100% of the proceeds go to the organization.
