Robert Marawa (born 1 March 1973 in Vryheid) is one of South Africa’s most recognised sports journalist. He is a popular television and radio personality.
He attended Hilton College near Pietermaritzburg and the University of the Witwatersrand where he studied law.
Robert worked as a presenter for SuperSport and is the former host of 083 [email protected] on Metro FM.

His other sister, Vanessa is also not a new name in South Africa. She took part in and won the Survivor South Africa: Panama.
He has a child with his ex-girlfriend, Zoe Mthiyane. Their son whose name is Awande was born in July 2011. His co-parenting relationship with his baby mother did not go smoothly.
He was accused by Zoe of failing to pay child maintenance and neglecting their son.
His recently signed contract gave details of his salary. According to the agreement, he earns a total of R154000 monthly.
