Duane Williams (born 1990 in Cape Town) is a South African actor best known for his recurring role as Vernon on the SABC2 soapie 7de Laan.
Career
Duane Williams performed as a core dancer in the Warner Brothers picture A Cinderella Story as well as the Universal Pictures features Honey 3 and Bring It on 6.
In 2017, 7de Laan made the decision to develop internship possibilities for aspiring young actors. For Season 19 of the program, Duane participated in this program.
Thursday, October 19, 2017, saw the debut of his character Vernon.
In the Netflix coming-of-age drama series Blood & Water, in which a Cape Town youngster attempts to determine whether a private-school swimming star is her sister who was kidnapped at birth, Duane received his first leading role. He was cast as Mark Tedder.
