Janine van Wyk (born 17 April 1987) is a South African professional footballer who plays as a defender for her own club in South Africa JVW and the South Africa women’s national team.

Career
Van Wyk moved from Thembisa, where she was a member of a group that won three straight league championships, to the Moroka Swallows and later the Palace Super Falcons. She subsequently started her own team, JVW F.C.
She signed with the Danish team Fortuna Hjorring in August 2019. Following a knee injury sustained during a training session and her return to South Africa, van Wyk announced on January 14, 2020, that she and Fortuna Hjorring had decided to end her contract so that she could concentrate on her recovery.
When Van Wyk joined Glasgow City in the Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL), she made her way back to Europe in July 2020.
