Thishiwe Ziqubu (born 5 August 1985) is a South African film director, writer and actress known for her role of Tashaka in the romantic comedy Tell Me Sweet Something.

She studied script-writing and directing after completing high school. Thishiwe later proceeded to African film and Drama Academy for more studies.
She finished her Acting for the Film programme at the Los Angeles Campus of the New York Film Academy.
Her acting career started in 2011 where she was part of the cast in the drama film Man on Ground.
She portrayed as Matshepo Tau in the Mzansi’s Magic’s The Imposter, a drama series that reflects a story of twin sisters Mantwa and Matshepo Tau who find themselves at war.
The drama series also featured popular actors such as Mpumi Mpama, Khulu Skenjana, Omuhle Gela, Zenzo Nqobe, Mary Twala.
She has also featured in other films which include While You weren’t looking and Tell Me Something.
Thishiwe is the writer and director of three short films which are Out of Luck, Subdued and Between the Lines.
She is a winner of numerous awards such as
