Tweezy (born 24 October 1992) whose real name is Tumelo Thandokuhle Mathebula is a South African record producer and rapper from Johannesburg, South Africa.
After the death of his parents at the young age of 6, he moved to Johannesburg in the Gauteng Province of South Africa.
He was born on the 24th of October 1992 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Tweezy is 27 years old as of 2019.
While in grade 10, a music-making software called FL Studio was introduced to him. He had initially thought it was a “music-making game”, but later discovered that it was a music-making software.
His first music group was called “Ghetto Prophecy” and it consisted of 8 members. One of the songs produced by the group called “Oh My” ranked number 16 on the top 40 songs of YFM and was played frequently on Metro FM as well as 5FM in 2011.
Due to lack of funding, the group disbanded and as a result, he decided to venture into the music industry as a music producer.
His first solo single was titled “Ambitions” and it was ranked number two on YFM’s Urban Top 40.
Remix for the single was released later on and it featured South Africa rapper Khuli Chana, Nigerian artist Ice Prince and singer/songwriter Victoria Kimani.

Nominations and Awards
- In 2014 he was nominated for producer of the year at the SA Hip Hop Awards 2014.
- He was nominated the following year for the same award and won producer of the year at the SA Hip Hop Award 2015.
- He was named producer of the year by Hype Magazine which is a local hip hop magazine.
