The Red Room is a Turkish series that revolves around a psychological clinic and the stories and behaviors of a group of psychiatric patients who visit it, and who have experienced a variety of incidents ranging from suffering to joy, as told by one of the clinic’s therapists who supervises their follow-up and attempts to cure them.

Episode 2
The Doctor learns more about Meliha’s past traumatic experiences like the death of her father and what befell her sister Güler. Meliha feels relieved as she pours her heart out and it seems she may find the joy inside herself.
Meanwhile Mehmet, who is suffering from anger management problems, is trouble for Tuna and the other clients in the waiting room. The mysterious character Salih arouses curiosity with his strange attitude and actions.

We learn that Ayse has feelings for Deniz while Deniz has feelings for Piraye. Preparations are underway for Tuna’s surprise birthday party.
The Doctor learns how Nesrin and Mehmet’s marriage has turned into an abusive marriage. She decides learn about the past experiences in their childhood.

Episode 4
The Doctor learns about Mehmet and Nesrin’s childhood and the episode explores “The Motivation of Fate” – how our past experiences and feelings affect our life e.g. how those who are exposed to violence in their childhood often become violent people themselves or take violent people into their lives.
The mysterious guy Salih tells The Doctor about his secret. A new client, Alya, comes to the clinic to see The Doctor and it seems she’s going to give everyone a hard time.

Episode 5
Alya continues to make trouble. For the first time, The Doctor runs out of patience. While she tries to get rid of Alya, the meeting of Alya and Mehmet causes a disturbance in the clinic.
The reason for Mehmet’s tendency to violence comes to light. He will face truths and this will be a challenging test. Meanwhile, Tuna is upset with everyone for forgetting her birthday. But, a surprise is waiting for her and everyone.

Episode 6
It seems that the therapy works for Mehmet. He has some feelings for the first time. Meanwhile, everybody continues to hide the party from Tuna. Tuna is still sad and upset.
Ayse tries to break some taboos with the help of Piraye. Meliha’s unbelievable and sorrowful story attracts much attention. How can five children live without a mother or father?

Episode 7
Meliha’s story continues. Her older sister Güler sacrifices herself to be able to take care of her siblings. Even though, they are just children, they feel the burden of life on their shoulders.
The villagers start to make much more trouble for them. After a while, the children cannot stand it and Güler decides to take her siblings somewhere else. But, this moving will get them into much more trouble.

Alya turns the clinic into a flower garden. The Doctor has started to get to know Alya better and starts to understand her, but Alya still doesn’t want to talk about herself.
In order to get information about her from her reactions, The Doctor starts to tell her stories. This way we slowly start to learn about Alya’s story.
